Claudia Huber is the owner and senior consultant of devImpact, a consultancy firm working on financial inclusion with a focus on the agri-food sector. Previously Claudia worked at CGAP/The World Bank and for financial institutions serving low-income households and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. Claudia is also a member of the Board of Directors of the African Agriculture and Trade Investment Fund and the Regional MSME Investment Fund for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Rose Okello is a Matoke farmer and single mother living in a village near Mbarara, a town in southern Uganda. To ensure that she can pay for her family's food, her children's school fees and other expenses on time, Rose uses various financial services. Her story portrays hurdles but also hope for women in agribusiness.


